Alzheimer’s disease, the most common form of dementia, afflicts an estimated four million Americans. HFA's 2004 initiative focused on Alzheimer's disease and dementia and provided support and resources for the social workers, family caregivers, members of the clergy, and healthcare professionals caring for those with dementia.
